Connect Claude to AgencyZoom in 10 minutes

This is the whole setup. Ten minutes is generous — most of it is waiting for people to find their AgencyZoom password.

Before you start

• An EffiZoom Marketplace subscription ($39/mo).
• A Claude account for each person who will use it.
• Each person's own AgencyZoom login. Not a shared one — see below.

Step 1 — Subscribe to the Marketplace plan

The connector is included, with no separate licence and no per-seat pricing. One subscription covers up to five connected users in your agency. If you are not on it yet, start here.

Step 2 — Add the connector in Claude

Each team member adds it the same way they would any other secure connector, then signs in with their own AgencyZoom credentials. Tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit, and sessions refresh on their own, so this is a once-per-person job rather than a weekly annoyance.

Do this per person rather than sharing one account. Every note, task and status change is attributed to whoever asked for it, which is the difference between an audit trail and a pile of anonymous edits.

Step 3 — Run something real

Good first requests, roughly in order of how quickly they prove the point:

• “Give me the full picture on [customer name] before I call.” One request assembles contact details, active status, policies, total premium, upcoming renewals and open tasks.
• “What is expiring in the next 45 days?” Then ask it to turn the list into outreach tasks.
• “Open a COI ticket for this customer.” Watch it check for an existing match first.

What to expect the first week

High-stakes actions run on guided rails. When it finds a possible duplicate it will stop and show you rather than proceeding, and you have to explicitly say go. That feels slow on day one and stops feeling slow the first time it catches something.
